Day 1 :

 Arrival to Paro

Fly to Paro, Transfer to Thimphu (2300m – 3 hours). Arrival at Paro at different times & since this is the first day of the tour, there are no other activities planned except for arrival at Paro and transfer to your hotel. The tiny town of Paro is bursting with color and tradition overlooked by a dramatic dzong. Fields cover most of the valley floor while hamlets and isolated farms dot the countryside - the houses here are considered to be among the most beautiful in the country. Paro is believed to be one of the first valleys to have received the imprint of Buddhism.


Day 2 :

 Thimpu

Today your visit at Thimphu where you see a curved building, the white walls had wooden windows sticking out of the walls. This place has admirable architecture and fantastic history.


Day 3 :

 Thimpu Sightseeing

This day sightseeing tour includes the Tag Dzong and watches tower for Rinpung Dzong. You can see the Trashichho dzong houses the secretariat, throne room, and offices of the King of Bhutan.


Day 4 :

 Drive to Punakha

Punakha Dzong is the winter residence of Bhutan’s spiritual leader, the Head Abbot, and the Central Monastic Body. The Dzong is built between two rivers known as "Phochu" (Male River) and "Mochu" (Female River). It takes almost four hours to drive between the windswept town of Wangdue and Trongsa. Here you visit Eastern Himalayas where you enjoy kayaking or rafting in the clean and clear waters of Pho Chhu River. You experience Kayaking and Rafting in class-3 rapids.


Day 5 :

 Wangdi Phodrang

Afternoon drive to Wangdi Phodrang (70 KMS / 03 HRS, 1350Mts / 4430Fts) the last town on the highway before entering central Bhutan. At this tour, you will see the beautiful Black-Necked Cranes and also informative displays about the cranes and the valley environment. Here at this tour, you will do lots of fun like, you can browse the library and handicraft shop, and watch videos at 10 am and 3 pm. Overnight at Hotel.


Day 6 :

 Departure

Drive back to Paro for nearby sightseeing. There is the ruins of Drugyal Dzong, a site of great historical significance. It was from this fortress that the Bhutanese repelled many Tibetan invasions. The name means the victorious Bhutanese. It offers a magnificent vista of Mount Chomolhari, "Mountain of Goddess" (7329 m). After that visit secluded wooded mixture of the Ugyen Pelri Palace was built by the Paro penlop, Tshering Penjor. You will see the five square chortens that were built in memory of the first king of Bhutan, Ugyen Wangchuck. Transfer to airport. Fly back to home.
